Lars Dove

Lars Dove was born November 20, 1970 in Patchogue, New York, and moved to Los Angeles, California eight years later. Lars began his work in commercial and residential construction at the early age of thirteen, "with a work permit, of course." This experience is where he learned first hand the multiple facets of the construction industry, everything from working the front office to the fabrication and installation of construction projects. He was able to gain all of this experience and continue his education. Lars graduated from Kennedy High School in 1988. He continued his education at College of the Canyons, and earned a degree in 1994. After graduation Lars had one thing in mind and that was to move to Austin, Texas to be with his now wife Jodi (Arcadian Interiors) whom he had helped move to Austin in 1992. They were married in 1996 and have two beautiful children, Ryley and McKenna.

In 1994 Lars started his first construction company, which he later partnered in 1997. Working hard to build his company, it soon grew to a size of 42 employees and three locations. Although a great experience, Lars soon realized his that his passion was with a smaller company of employees that could better serve the client and have the ability to perform "custom" applications. Lars' desire for perfection required a closer nit team to perform those functions. It also became clear to him that he desired more time with his family. So, in 2001 Lars and his partner sold that company and he began Arcadian Inc. as a sole proprietorship the same year.

Lars has been in the construction industry for over 20 years and is enjoying the rewards of owning a small business. Arcadian has been building residential and commercial projects in the Austin area for over seven years and has done construction related work for such people as Janet Jackson, Ron Cey (Los Angeles Dodgers), Mickey Dolenze (The Monkey's), Lisa Marie Presly, and even remodeled the former Governor of Texas' house, Ann Richards. Lars says, "It is the relationship with the client that is the most important to me. Construction projects can be long and arduous, so it is important that the client and I are able to communicate well, as I enjoy building and want the client's experience to be enjoyable and rewarding as well."

Tom Vuono

Tom graduated from Westlake High School in 1991. He then attended the University of Texas and graduated in 1995. After graduation, Tom began his construction career with a masonry firm which specialized in masonry and stucco work on multi-family apartment projects throughout the State of Texas. After completing dozens of projects across the state, he began consulting for masonry suppliers and contractors for multi-family apartment projects and still does to this day. For the past ten years, Tom has been developing and building commercial and residential projects in the Austin and surrounding areas. He is also the co-owner of a property management and landscaping firm where he resides in Dripping Springs, Texas. Tom currently serves as Vice-President of Construction with Arcadian, Inc.
